OutScape
A downloadable game for Windows
I started making this game alongside the Brackeys Unity tutorial (playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j48LtUkZRjU&list=PLPV2KyIb3jR5QFsefuO2RlAgWEz6EvVi6). However I soon branched off and made it look better in a Vapowave/Outrun/80s aesthetic. I also added more features than standing blocks. This project has been my Unity learning course and I hope I won´t stop here.
The game currently only features 2 short playable levels.
***Use W,A,S,D to control the vehicle, R to reset level and ESC to enter the pause menu.***
The final version should feature 3 levels.

I get no response to any keys..
(looks cool though)
It should be fixed now, just a small last second bug. (Use W,A,S,D)
Nice work! Great rendition of the Synthwave aesthetic. The palette and shapes look just right.
A tough little challenge, took me a good five min or so to finally cross the finish.
What is the thing with the green ball that shoots past on the left? (is it a Rube Goldberg machine kind of thing?)
A couple of suggestions:
-the timer makes sense of course, but when playing i wanted to know how far I had got towards the finish, something like a counter showing distance traveled vs total distance (eg "23/100m")
-also, i would have liked a counter showing how many tries it took me to reach the finish.
Thank you so much for the kind words, I really appreciate them c:
I absolutely agree with your suggestions and I will add them as soon as possible. The green ball is supposed to be an enemy (currently a placeholder, because I haven't decided what the enemy will be) that makes the big block come down. So it is kinda like a Rube Goldberg machine.
